A Maryland teenager on vacation in Puerto Rico was murdered on a seashore on July 1.
The adolescent was slain on an Isla Verde beach near the Casa Cuba club on July 1 following an incident, according to the Puerto Rico Police Bureau.
According to FOX 5, Carlos Anbal Rosado Martnez, a suspect in the shooting, handed himself in on Friday morning. Tommy Grays III, a rising student at James Hubert Blake High School in Montgomery, Maryland, was recognized.
The high school sent a letter to students and faculty describing the adolescent as “extremely loving, thoughtful, and funny.”
The father of Grays told NBC Washington that some Puerto Ricans perceive their son as a villain.
Tommy Grays stated, “My son was an innocent child without a violent bone in his body.” “He had never been in a physical altercation in his entire life, yet he lost his, and it is believed he was belligerent. Makes no logic.”
According to the victim’s father, Tommy Grays, the argument involved a different family member and ended with Martnez grabbing a pistol.
Tommy Grays stated that his son prevented the occurrence of the event. “He then walked back to the beach and was in the water with his stepfather when the assailant with the gun returned on foot and opened fire on them.”
