Pep Guardiola’s side will be hoping to equal Manchester United’s record of three consecutive Premier League titles. Manchester City has now back-to-back Premier League and is on course to make history this season.
The Citizens had to make a final comeback against Aston Villa to win last season’s Premier League with just one point above Liverpool.
Manchester City will start their Premier League defense on Sunday 7 August at West Ham. The last time Manchester City played West Ham away from home, Pep Guardiola’s side had to come back from two goals down to draw with David Moyes’ side.
Manchester City will play their first game at the Etihad stadium against newly promoted side Bournemouth on 13 August.
Manchester City will host Manchester United at the Etihad for the first Manchester derby on 1 October and play against Liverpool at Anfield for the first round of the much anticipated Erling Haaland Vs Darwin Nunez showdown on 15 October.
