The brain behind The People’s Project (TPP),  Kwame Asare Obeng otherwise known as A-Plus has for the first time sounded like Donald Trump, asking hotels operating in Ghana to sell local beverages or leave the country.

The musician and businessman over the years now, have been a thorn in the flesh of greedy politicians and unfavorable government policies. He has solely used his social media handles to express his disappointments of some leaders and policies within the current regime and previous administration.

In a Facebook post, Mr A Plus emphasized his disappointment in some local laws that seem to favor the consumption of foreign products than local ones. He said;

“Before anyone is issued a license to operate a hotel or restaurant or any tourist facility in Ghana, they must be made to undetake that they shall sell local alcoholic beverages. You cannot come and operate a hotel in our country and sell only foreign alcoholic beverages. You go to a big hotel and they tell you that, here we don’t sell those drinks. We don’t sell Alomo biters here. We don’t sell Akpeteshie but the same hotel sells Russian vodka and tequila. If you don’t sell alcohol, that’s fine. If you do, you must stock Alomo, Herb Afrik, Joy Daddy, Adonko, etc… Everything must be about Ghana. If you won’t sell it leave our country!!!”
