Keith David Williams, better known as Keith David, is an American film actor and voice actor who was born on June 4, 1956, in Harlem, New York, United States of America, under the zodiac sign of Gemini, with the ethnicity of black and American nationality. Keith was born to Lester Williams, who worked as a director of payroll operations at a company while his mother, Dolores, was a manager at New York Telephone.
He attended Manhattan’s High School of Performing Arts. After graduating from high school, he went on to further his education at the prestigious Juilliard School, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1979. After playing the cowardly lion in a school production of The Wizard of Oz, he wanted to be an actor at first.

Career
Keith started his acting career with John Houseman’s The Acting Company after they toured the country in 1980 and 1981 with shows of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett.” His film career took off after less than two years when he starred as Childs in “The Thing” alongside Kurt Russell. Between 1983 and 1985, he was in nine episodes of the popular show “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood,” in which he played Keith, the handyman. During the late 1980s, he got parts in a number of movies and TV shows, such as “Platoon,” “Hot Pursuit,” “Off Limits,” and “They Live.”
In the 1995 movie Dead Presidents, he played Kirby, and he was in the 1995 Spike Lee movie Clockers.
