The Bono Region has recorded it first Covid-19 case.
According to our sources the infected person was trying to sneak into the through Sampa where he was arrested by our security agencies. The patient was then tested for the virus and the result came out positive.
The patient is currently in an isolation centre in the Jama North District where he is being treated.
Ghana has so far recorded 2,719 confirmed cases of Coronavirus patients. 294 patients have fully recovered from the virus.
The country has also recorded 18 deaths.
