President Biden’s recovery from COVID-19, according to MSNBC anchor Joy Reid, is a “sign of strength” comparable to former President Trump’s escape from an assassination attempt.
“Both of these males are rather old. For whatever reason, Donald Trump, an old guy, was granted nine seconds to capture a memorable shot during an active shooter scenario. “We’ll figure that out one day, it’s a weird situation,” Reid remarked during MSNBC’s live broadcast of the RNC.
Reid went on to say that Trump’s survival of the assassination attempt and his quick return to the campaign by showing up at his party’s convention are being portrayed by the media as a “sign of strength.”
