Career
Bassett starred in television episodes Lethal Weapon, Game Shakers, and Dirty John between 2017 and 2018. His first significant role was as Aidan Peters in the third and final season of the Disney Channel comedy series Stuck in the Middle, which aired in early 2018. Bassett portrayed Matt in a staged reading of Calvin Berger in August 2018. In October 2018, he landed his first significant role as Ricky Bowen, the male lead in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
In the first few episodes of the fifteenth season of the television show Grey’s Anatomy, Bassett played Linus, a recovering juvenile drug addict who is taken to the hospital after an overdose. He was a featured performer on August Kamp’s “Evergreen” song from his 2019 first studio album, 19: The Musical, which was released in July.
