What did Jorginho say?
The Italian said in an interview with Sky Sports that,
“He’s been here a long time so if he leaves then we’re going to miss him. He’s a big personality and he’s helped us a lot. We’ve had amazing times here; he’s a good friend of mine and of course, if he leaves everyone at the club will miss him, not just me.”
When asked what he will miss most about the German, he replied: His craziness. He makes me laugh a lot; all of his jokes and laughs we’ve had together – that’s the nice part.”
Rudiger is currently injured and he is likely to return for the Manchester United game on Thursday. Thomas Tuchel confirmed.
“The injury of Toni, in one leg it’s the groin and the other a bit the hamstring,”
“He is somebody that plays through the pain and is used to it, but it’s muscle pain and huge discomfort. He feels insecure because he is not used to having muscle injuries. So he feels like it could happen.”
“He wants to come back, and the plan is he is back on Tuesday in training for Thursday (against Manchester United). Hopefully, we can stick to the plan.”
Jorginho’s agent insists Jorginho will stay at Chelsea amid Juventus speculations
Jorginho’s agent João Santos claims his player will 100% stay in Chelsea next season amid reports that Juventus are closing in on the Chelsea Midfielder.
The 30 years old Italian has one year remaining on his contract and has been linked with a summer move to Juventus, but his agent has shot down those rumors.
He told Calciomercato: “Negotiation with Juve? Given this situation and that Chelsea are without a buyer, he 100% (Jorginho) remains in London’’.
“I have known [Juventus sporting director Federico] Cherubini for 20 years; he is aware of the situation”.
Chelsea will also lose Andreas Christensen on a free transfer to Barcelona and Cesar Azpilicueta could fellow suit if the Chelsea takeover is not over.
