Just three months after she was derided for comparing Latinos to “breakfast tacos,” First Lady Jill Biden has not made any comments on the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month; nevertheless, she has announced plans to throw an event in honor of the holiday.
According to Elizabeth Alexander, the communications director for the first lady, who spoke with the media on Friday, “Yes, the first lady will host a Hispanic Heritage Month reception at the White House and continue to engage the community as she travels the country.” Hispanic Heritage Month is observed every September in the United States. The date of the reception, in addition to any more information regarding it, has not yet been disclosed.
Jill Biden has not yet made any public remarks on the subject of the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, despite the fact that she has plans to do so.
