Parliamentary Career
He was elected as the Member of Parliament for Vale of Clwyd with 39% of the vote in the 2015 general election, beating out incumbent Chris Ruane of Labour with 38.4%. Ruane held the seat for 18 years, and Davies polled 237 more votes than his opponent. He lost his seat in the 2017 United Kingdom general election but was re-elected in 2019.
