A U.S. organization with financial links to the Hamas operative who allegedly held the freed Israeli hostage captive is the target of a lawsuit filed by the freed Israeli hostage on Tuesday.
Almog Meir After the terrorist incident in southern Israel on October 7, Jan. 22, was captured by Hamas and held hostage for over 250 days. She was discovered at the residence of Abdallah Aljamal, a writer for the Palestine Chronicle website and a spokesman for the labor ministry operated by Hamas in Gaza. Aljamal perished in the course of the IDF’s rescue effort.
The tax-exempt organization People Media Project is in charge of running the Palestine Chronicle.
According to the Israel Defense Forces, Andrey Kozlov, 27, and Shlomi Ziv, 41, were also detained in his family’s Nuseirat, Gaza, residence.
