According to a new revelation, the team is known as NILI by the Shin Bet, Israel’s equivalent of the FBI.
According to reports, Israel’s version of the FBI has formed a special team dedicated to tracking down and executing every Hamas terrorist who took part in the Oct. 7 surprise strikes from Gaza.
According to the Jerusalem Post, the Israel Security Agency, known as Shin Bet, has developed a new unit called NILI, an abbreviation in Hebrew for “The Eternity of Israel Will Not Lie.”
According to the article, the new squad, which will work independently from previous command and control groups focused on destroying strike cells and high-ranking Hamas officials, is tasked with tracking down and eliminating everyone involved in the atrocities.
Members of a particular Hamas commando unit inside the terror organization’s Nukhba wing, which Israel thinks carried out the attacks, will be specifically targeted.
According to reports, those assigned to the unique assignment comprise field operators and intelligence experts.
Recently, Israeli troops have claimed to have killed many Hamas commanders as they continue to strike the Gaza Strip. Among them are Ali Qadhi, a leader in the Hamas Nukhba unit who was a crucial player in the border strike, and Billal Al Kedra, who Israeli authorities believe spearheaded Hamas’ fatal operation in Nirim.
According to The Associated Press, more than 20 towns and villages in southern Israel were assaulted in the broad attack launched from Gaza by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7. More than 1,400 Israelis were murdered in the initial Hamas attack, and an estimated 200 others were taken to Gaza as hostages.
