It took the alligator many months to build its nest and begin guarding its young when they were born.
A video that was shared on Facebook not so long ago shows an alligator with a length of eight feet leading its young to water.

The video was broadcast earlier this week by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC), and it displays a large adult alligator attentively caring for its young.
