There is a good chance that President Joe Biden will push Congress to take some kind of action on firearms.
On Tuesday, members of the families of those who were killed or injured in the shooting that took place at the Tops grocery store in Buffalo, New York, will meet with President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.
According to a White House official who talked to The News God about the upcoming events, there will also be meetings with members of law enforcement and first responders.
A representative for the White House stated that Joe and Jill Biden will “pay their respects to the folks who lost their lives in Saturday’s horrible massacre” at the Tops Friendly Market.
In the later part of the day, President Biden is scheduled to make a statement. The shooting is going to be described as “terrorism driven by a vicious and twisted ideology that tears at the spirit of our nation,” which is what he is going to say.
