The card sheet must be the same size as the sheets stored with the cards. For example, if the sheet size is 11 “x 8 1/2” wide, with an 11 “side binding edge with a 1/2” tab, the cover for these materials must have at least 9 sides to hide the tabs.

Determine the Size of Tabs, Group Them Together
You must determine the size of the tabs, the number of tab groups, the number of tabs in each group, the number of libraries, and the number of tabs in each library.
Regardless of the card layout, you need 100 sets of eight cards, for a total of 800 cards. If you have a lot of cards, you can group the cards.
Determine how many tab dividers are needed on the separator, and copy the tabs multiple times. These dividers will have three labels on the page, so I have copied the labels three times. Select all 5 cards again and adjust all to 11 to fit the length of the cards.

Index tab dividers are great if you want to organize legal documents or your own thoughts and ideas. We can all struggle with this aspect of our life.
