According to the IDF, Following the sirens that sounded in numerous areas in central Israel, the IAF intercepted one missile that was launched from Yemen before crossing into Israeli territory. The alarms were triggered due to concerns over falling interceptor debris.
Following the interception, A Grade School in the Ramat Efal Neighborhood of Eastern Tel Aviv was hit after a Booster Rocket from an “Arrow-3” Anti-Ballistic Missile Interceptor is believed to have fallen while carrying out the Successful Interception of a Houthi Long-Range Ballistic Missile fired at Central Israel. The falling Debris from the interceptor caused no injuries or casualties. There is damage to cars parked in the school and other buildings.
In response to the incident, Houthi official Nasruddin Amer posted on X about the sirens in the Tel Aviv area, declaring, “There is no safe place for Zionists.”
The conflict between Israel and the Houthis has been escalating for months, with the Houthis attacking Israel and its allies in response to Israel’s military activities in Gaza. The group has vowed to continue its attacks until a ceasefire is reached in Gaza.
