An Israeli K-9 squad rescued over 200 people fleeing shooting in towns near the Gaza Strip.
According to the Israel Defense Forces Spokesman’s Unit, amid fighting in numerous areas surrounding Gaza, Israeli forces supported by K-9s conducted many rescue missions in which they “rescued hostages, saved lives, and eliminated terrorists who had barricaded themselves in houses.”
According to the Spokesman’s Unit, the Israel Defense Forces’ Oketz K-9 Unit was divided into three companies so that its commanders and men could take a more active role in fighting near the Gaza Strip, resulting in the rescue of multiple captives and the assassination of more than ten Hamas militants.
