Gabriel Agbonlahor. Has slammed Harry Kane for flying to the US to watch the Finals of the Master before Tottenham’s defeat to Brighton.
Harry Kane made the 8,000-mile round-trip to Augusta to watch the final day of the Masters last week following Spurs’ 4-0 demolition of Aston Villa.
Tottenham suffered a shock defeat to Brighton at home to dent their hopes to play in the Champions League next season.
Spurs are fourth in the Premier League ahead of Arsenal and Manchester united.
A win against Brighton would have strengthened their chance of a top-four finish this season with six matches remaining.
Spurs failed to register a single shot on target as Trossard 90th minute goal was enough to give Brighton the deserved win.
After Kane’s sluggish performance against Brighton, Agbonlahor believes questions should be asked of him, claiming he looked ‘jetlagged’ on the day.
What did Agbonlahor say?
Agbonlahor told talkSPORT: “You know Harry Kane for instance, I’m his biggest fan.
“But if you’re flying out from the Aston Villa game to the Masters, doing that traveling and coming back and then putting in a performance like today…
“Questions have got to be asked of Harry Kane.
“Was that the right thing for him to go and do?
“Because today they were toothless going forward Spurs, no shots on target.

Agbonlahor went on to criticize Tottenham for enabling their top-four competitors to remain in contention for a place in the Champions League
“Every time they seem to get a bit of an edge against Arsenal and Manchester United they throw it away.
“Every time they seem to get a lead in the race for top four they keep letting Man Utd back into it. Especially Arsenal as well.
“So as much as we keep looking at fixtures and what the results are gonna be, these teams can lose any game any week.”

✈️ “Questions have to be asked. The way he played was like he was jet lagged.”
