Austin Sumpter faces charges related to breaking into a house with the intention of committing a crime.
Police in Thrall, Texas, said a guy brandishing a knife with the words “Hail Satan” inscribed on it stormed into a house on Monday night and was shot by the homeowner.
According to the Taylor Police Department, Austin Sumpter, 23, was taken into custody and accused of breaking into a house with the intention of committing a crime.
At around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, a homeowner called the police to report that a guy with a knife was trying to break into their house.
