The Vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia says the government will not delay in paying road contractors to expedite works on deplorable roads across the country.

According to him, at least three critical roads have been selected to be fixed in each of the regions. Government has declared the year 2020 as “Year of Roads” to address the numerous commuting challenges the public faces as a result of bad roads.
