Ghana records 695 new COVID-19 cases; case count now 26,125

Ghana has recorded 695 new cases of COVID-19, according to the Ghana Health Service.

In a press briefing today July 16 2020, the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, noted that the new cases are as a result of a backlog from 12th June to 12th July.

However, the country’s death toll still stands at 139.

8 persons according to the Ghana Health Service are in critical condition, 25 severely ill, 22,270 recovered and discharged with 3,716 active cases
