While policing Joshua Tree National Park, a park ranger noticed “fresh yellow paintball splatter.”
Following a paintball shooting spree that left road signs, restrooms, and dumpsters scattered across Joshua Tree National Park in California, three German visitors were penalized, according to park officials.
A park ranger patrolling Joshua Tree National Park’s Jumbo Rocks Campground on Sunday observed “fresh yellow paintball splatter on structures and signs,” according to a news statement from the National Park Services (NPS).
The ranger discovered a slingshot inside a car after looking at the paintball splatters more closely.
