Member of Parliament for Tema West Constituency and Deputy Minister for Trade and industry, Hon. Carlos Ahenkorah, has predicted and warned Ghanaians not to make the mistake of voting the NDC back into power else they (NDC) will cancel Free SHS.
On UTV morning show, Hon Carlos Ahenkorah argued that NDC has the records of tormenting Ghanaians and are capable of “cancelling the free SHS if voted”.

Hon. Carlos Ahenkorah reffered to the Kuffour’s four (4) year SHS Education policy which was reversed back to three (3) years by the late Professor John Evans Atta-Mills.

The Free SHS policy is a campaign promise by the Nana Addo’s government prior to the 2016 election which intends to enroll every able Ghanaian into SHS. The NDC however argued that Free SHS isn’t needed as the time and therefore suggested a progressive free shs.
It turns out after the 2016 election Progressive Free SHS couldn’t win the heart of Ghanaians compared to Nana Addo’s free SHS.
