Frank Sinatra was born in Hoboken, New Jersey on December 12, 1915, to his Italian immigrant parents, Natalina ‘Dolly’ Garaventa and Antonio Martino ‘Matty’ Sinatra. His mother worked as a midwife and his father also worked at the Hoboken Fire Department.

Frank Sinatra married four times and had at least six notable relationships in between. Sinatra was married to Nancy Barbato whom he met in the summer of 1934. They got married on February 4, 1939, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Barbato’s hometown.
