According to The Washington Post, Obama has privately admitted that Biden’s path to reelection has grown more challenging since the debate.
To further his campaign for reelection, President Biden has sought the support of A-list celebrities, one of whom is arguably the most prominent Democrat of all: former President Barack Obama.
However, it appears that even Obama may be skeptical of Biden’s chances of earning a second term in November following his clumsy performance in last week’s first presidential debate against former President Donald Trump.
The Washington Post claimed that Obama informed private supporters that Biden’s chances of winning reelection had grown more challenging since Thursday. Obama also reportedly contacted Biden to provide further words of encouragement following the debate.
