On Friday night, five shootings took place in the parking lot of Douglas on the South Side.
At around 11:45 p.m., a suspect opened fire on the group in a parking lot located in the 3000 block of South Rhodes Avenue, according to the Chicago Police Department.
According to the police, a man in his 27th year was shot in the chin, and another man in his 19th year was shot in the leg. Both were found to be in good health when they were brought to the University of Chicago Medical Center.
According to the police, a female victim aged 18 who was struck in the leg was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where she is currently listed as having a stable condition.
A man in his 20s who was wounded in the arm was taken to Mercy Hospital, where the police said he is currently in stable condition despite having suffered the gunshot wound. Fortunately, the status of the 26-year-old victim who was shot in the leg at the same moment was not affected.
An investigation is currently being carried out by deputies from Area Three.
