The corpse has been transferred to the county medical examiner’s office for an autopsy, according to police, who did not identify it.
According to authorities, two fishermen on Georgia’s Chattahoochee River found a body on Wednesday night.
Around 5:30 p.m., according to the Chattahoochee Hills Police Department, the guys discovered the corpse.
Police were dispatched to the Campbellton Park Boat Ramp after the fisherman contacted 911 to report their find.
