Following the incident, mental health professionals provide important advice on identifying a “more dangerous loner mentality.”
Thomas Matthew Crooks’ social interactions and potential mental condition have come to light after his July 13 attempt to assassinate US President Donald Trump.
Speaking to local news sites, several locals of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, the small Pittsburgh neighborhood where Crooks resided with his parents, called the 20-year-old gunman a “loner”.
Reportedly, an analysis of Crooks’ phone indicated that he had looked up depression illness signs in the past.
