‘Today, my baby girl is a big one-year-old. @safiremajesty 2-3-2020 ♥️My heart explodes with so many emotions. It is hard to believe that a year ago today, you blessed my life with so much love and joy. The kind of love and joy that is genuine and pure,’ Erica began her post.
She continued and said: ‘My entire life, I was rushing. Wishing for the next step. The next month, the next year, the next phase of my life. My entire life, I spent rushing…until I got to you. There are times where I wish I could freeze moments forever. Yet I know that each passing day with you brings more me happiness. This past year will be a year I will forever cherish in heart and memory.
She also posted this: ‘You learned to breastfeed like a champ at the first latch. I learned everything about milk quality, supply, nutrition, and pumping. You started to laugh and giggle uncontrollably. I learned my new favourite sounds in the entire world. You started to sleep through the night. I learned to appreciate the little things like getting a shower and a good night’s sleep.’

Erica said the following to her baby girl: ‘You learned to crawl, pull up to stand, and crawl up the stairs. I learned, not to hold my breath in fear of your fall, but to support you in all the wonderful things you could do. This year you learned and grew so much. I learned just what we could achieve together as mommy and daughter in one simple year. So happy birthday to the one I always prayed for My Safire!
