Manchester United midfielder Donny Van de Beek has a vow to do better and improve if he is given the chance under new Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag.
Donny Van de Beek is yet to establish himself and prove his worth since joining Manchester United from Ajax in 2020.
Manchester United paid £40 million for the Dutch international. The Dutch international signed a five-year contract with the Red Devils
The 25-year-old Dutch international has made 50 appearances for Manchester United in all competition in the last two seasons with most of the appearances coming on as a substitute and in cup matches.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Everton, making seven appearances for the Merseyside club. Van de Beek is currently on a pre-season tour with Manchester United and had impressed in their last three pre-season games.

Donny Van de Beek said: “I can play as a 10, but also an 8.
“One of my strengths is to come in the box, make a goal, or give an assist, but I like to be on the ball as well. I have to play where the team needs me.
“I can do a lot better, I have to take steps as well. There is always space for improvement, I’m always critical of myself, and I can help until the end. You have to be fit to make your runs, the fitness has to be good, it’s still pre-season, and we have some way to go.”
Donny Van de Beek also heaped praises on Erik Ten Hag
The 25-year-old midfielder added: “He’s still the same, he will not change as a manager.
“I see a lot of the same things as at Ajax, I think he can help the team a lot. Of course, it’s important you have a good manager but in the end, the players have to do it, we work hard every day, sometimes twice a day, we’re making steps but we’re not there yet.

Meanwhile, Erik Ten Hag has revealed Cristiano Ronaldo is still part of his plans amid existing rumors.
The Portuguese international has still not reported to pre-season amid speculations linking them with a move to Atletico Madrid after Chelsea and Bayern Munich rejected the chance of signing the five times Ballon d’Or winner.
The Manchester United coach said when quizzed provide an update on Ronaldo: “No. It’s the same as last week. Of course, concerning is maybe not the right word [over his absence].
“I focus on the players who are there and they are doing really well. They are in good shape and I have further focused on that and developed that. I cannot wait for him to come in and then we will integrate him.”
