DJ Durel contributed six tracks to Control the Streets, Vol. 1, a compilation album released by Quality Control Music in late 2017. This was more than any other producer on the 30-track album. Migos released Culture II in 2018 and listed DJ Durel and Quavo as the album’s executive producers.
In the summer of 2015, he produced the Migos’ debut album, Yung Rich Nation, which marked the beginning of his relationship with the group. In 2015, he worked alongside Murda Beatz on the Migos album Yung Rich Nation, where they both served as producers. In 2018, Durel served as executive producer for the Migos Culture II album and produced twelve of its twenty-four tracks.
