Dee Bradley Baker is a well-known American voice actor, Comedian, and Singer who is best recognized for his work as the voice of Kevin the Sea Cucumber in SpongeBob SquarePants, Sunny Jim in Lobo, the Clone Troopers in several Star Wars media, Momo and Appa in Avatar: The Last Airbender, Ra’s al Ghul in Batman: Arkham City, and Perry the Platypus in Phineas & Ferb. He was born to Edwin “Buddy” Baker, a pilot who briefly served for the Army in Germany after the Korean War, and Nancy Ann McCaslin Baker. Baker attended Colorado College in Colorado Springs, where he studied philosophy, biology, and fine arts. In 1981, he graduated from University High School with a Boettcher Scholarship.

Career
Baker began acting at nine and has since performed regularly in plays, musicals, operas, and stand-up comedy. In 1989, Baker relocated to Orlando, Florida, where he participated in numerous projects for Disney and Universal Studios and worked on an improv sketch comedy performance called The Anacomical Players at EPCOT Center’s Wonders of Life pavilion. His first significant role on national television was as the announcer and enormous talking rock deity Olmec on the Nickelodeon game program Legends of the Hidden Temple from 1993 to 1995. With a “big, booming, powerful, godlike voice,” he portrayed Olmec. In 2016, Baker and Fogg faithfully portrayed their characters in a live-action television movie based on the series. When Legends was resurrected in 2021 on The CW, he took on the role of Olmec once more.
He began doing voiceover work, with his first significant role as Cow & Chicken’s dad in the Cow & Chicken and I Am Weasel cartoons. Baker’s first feature film voiceover came in the basketball-themed Looney Tunes film Space Jam, where he played Daffy Duck, Taz, and Toro.
