Harry Kane has become of the best strikers in the Premier League and Europe since his breakthrough season in the 2014/2015 season, where he scored 21 Premier League goals in 34 appearances.
Despite his impressive goal-scoring record in the Premier League, Europe, and the England National Team, Harry Kane is yet to win the title to his name.
Kane has scored 259 goals in 402 appearances for Tottenham. Harry Kane has also won three Premier League Golden Boots. The 31-year-old was close to joining Manchester City in 2021 but the move fell flat after Manchester City failed to meet the asking price of Tottenham.
Manchester United and Bayern Munich are rumored to be the two elite clubs ready to sign Harry Kane as his contract with Bayern ends in 2024.
However, Former Aston Villa striker Darren Bent has urged Harry Kane to leave Tottenham if they fail to win silverware this season under Antonio Conte. He also added that Manchester United will be perfect for him.
What did Darren Bent say?
The former England international said on TalkSports: “Where does he go? That City [opportunity has] gone.
“United would be perfect, they need a center-forward. So that makes sense.”
Darren Bent also added Tottenham Hotspurs will not demand any fees less than £100 million for Harry Kane.
“It was pretty clear last season that he wanted to leave.
“Man City were the one pressing the issue, clearly, they never came up with enough money and it’s believed they bid £140m but didn’t get him.
“They clearly believed that he was worth it, but Spurs thought he was worth more. Spurs are a club where if you don’t hit the price they want, you’re not going anywhere.
“I still think [he would cost] around £100m. There’s no way Daniel Levy will let him walk out for £60m.
“He could have two weeks left on his contract, Daniel Levy will still want £100m.”
