The last shipping date for Christmas present delivery is rapidly approaching. For packages and letters to reach their destinations on time during the busy holiday shipping season, the USPS, FedEx, and UPS have all set suggested ship-by dates.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) has said that it is “in a great position to manage the Christmas mailing and shipping surge” thanks to the deployment of personnel and new package-sorting machinery. This Christmas season, the US Postal Service claims it processed 60 million parcels per day, up from 53 million.
The US Postal Service reports that it takes an average of 2 1/2 days to deliver mail or packages throughout the country.
