This past week, a television news crew was held up at gunpoint and robbed as they were reporting on a string of armed robberies that had taken place in and around Chicago in recent days.
As a reporter and cameraman for the Spanish-language network Univision Chicago were doing their job on the west side of the city on Monday morning, they were stopped by three masked gunmen who demanded that they stop their work.
Before making their escape, the suspects allegedly made demands for money and stole different goods from the victims before fleeing the scene, as stated by the police in remarks given to the local media.
No one was wounded during the event, and no one has been detained as a result of the investigation being conducted by the police.
