The striker’s current deal ends in the summer, and there are whispers that he might want to leave the club. But allegedly Chelsea will try and convince him to stay even longer with a new deal.
They also say that Chelsea WILL go back in for Declan Rice in January, a priority target of Lampard, and another sign that they are still backing him.
They will need to see improved results from the last handful though that is not under debate.
