Callum Hudson Odoi and Ben Chilwell will miss Chelsea’s premier league game against Brentford on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.

The 24-year-old England international got injured in Chelsea’s Champions League victory over Juventus at Stamford Bridge in November last year, Although he was seen training at the CobhamTraining Center on Wednesday, he still lacks the fitness to play part in tomorrow’s match.
On the other hand, Odoi also resumed training this week and did not make the matchday squad. He has not featured in a game for Chelsea since the FA Cup win over Luton City.
Chelsea will hope the two players gain match fitness before they face Real Madrid in the Champions leagues and the remaining games of the season.
Speaking at the press conference today, Thomas Tuchel said:
“Team news, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ben Chilwell will miss the game tomorrow. Callum still feels his Achilles a little bit and has some lower back problems. Everybody else was in training,”
However, Reece James is set to play in tomorrow’s game.
As Chelsea faces a hectic schedule in April, a full and strong squad will be needed if they hope to retain their Champions League this season and widen the points gap between them and Arsenal.
