Real Madrid announced Saturday that Brahim Diaz is returning from AC Milan to the club.
Diaz, 23 years old, spent three seasons on loan with Milan, helping them achieve the Serie A championship in 2022 and reach the semifinals of the Champions League this season.
In 2019, he moved to Madrid from Manchester City but featured sparingly in his debut season in the Spanish capital.
He will rejoin a squad that won the Copa del Rey in Spain last season but will need to replace Karim Benzema.
Diaz is the third player to join Real Madrid this month, following the signings of midfielder Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund and left-back Fran Garcia from Rayo Vallecano.
