On Friday, Kelly Paduchowski’s body was discovered.
As per the authorities and court records that Fox News Digital was able to get, an Arizona man who filed a missing person’s report last week has admitted to killing his wife and entered a guilty plea to second-degree murder.
At a news conference on Friday, the Flagstaff Police Department stated that Daniel Paduchowski, 58, had reported to them on June 30 that his wife Kelly had never returned from a swim and run. This was allegedly a “attempt to misdirect police resources.”
After a nearly week-long search, his wife’s remains were discovered on Friday morning. He was taken into custody on Monday for aggravated assault.
According to Michael Tunink, senior criminal attorney with the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office, “Daniel Paduchowski pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, tampering with evidence, concealment of a dead body, and possession of dangerous drugs” on Friday.
