According to the officials in Maricopa County, the inquiry into League’s death is being investigated as a homicide investigation.
Authorities in Arizona were able to definitely identify the body of a child who had been reported missing earlier in this month. The charred remains of the corpse were discovered in a fire pit located not too far from Apache Junction.
The Media of Phoenix reports that the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has positively identified the body found on June 12 as that of missing 18-year-old Parker League. League had been spotted at an off-road vehicle location in Bulldog Canyon, which is where he was believed to have been last seen. The trip to Bulldog Canyon from Phoenix takes around a sixty-five minute window of time.
According to FOX 10, when League went missing on June 15 while on vacation from Nebraska, his belongings were found in a property in Tempe, Arizona. League had been on vacation in Arizona at the time.
Due to the “malicious” nature of the manner in which he was killed, the MCSO has ruled that his passing was a homicide.
