In the incident that took place in April, there were a total of six fatalities and twelve injuries.
On Saturday, the FBI and the police in Las Vegas apprehended a suspect in connection with a gang-related mass shooting in Sacramento California.
Mtula Payton, age 27, is suspected of being one of at least four individuals who opened fire on a gathering in Sacramento at the beginning of April, resulting in the deaths of six individuals and injuries sustained by 12. A dispute between two rival gangs was initially suspected by the authorities to have been the cause of the shooting that took place.
“Through their persistent investigation,” a statement issued by the police department in Sacramento reads, “our officers learned that Payton was residing at an apartment complex in Las Vegas, Nevada.”
