On Wednesday, the Saudi Arabian club announced that Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic had joined them from Serie A club Lazio.

Milinkovic-Savic has signed a three-year contract with a fourth-year option and will play alongside Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly and Portugal midfielder Ruben Neves, who joined the club in June.
Al-Hilal published a video of Milinkovic-Savic’s father examining photographs of his son, who is then shown wearing his new team’s uniform. “My name is Hilal,” said the Serbian player.
Al-Hilal rehired Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus on a one-year contract earlier this month. Milinkovic-Savic joined Lazio in 2015 and helped them win the Italian Cup and two Italian Super Cups in the 2018-19 season.
Al-Hilal is the most decorated club in Saudi Arabia and Asia, holding the record for the most Saudi league championships (18) and Asian Champions titles (4).
The Riyadh-based club surrendered their league and Champions League titles and finished third in the Saudi Pro League the previous year.
