On Friday, President Joe Biden stated that he does not believe any of Donald Trump’s followers to be a “danger” to the United States. However, he did say that the refusal to denounce violence to gain political benefit was “inappropriate.”
The comments made by the president were in response to a question posed by Peter Doocy of Fox News. Doocy wanted to know if President Biden considered all Trump supporters a threat to the country. This question came less than a day after Biden criticized “MAGA Republicans” in a speech on Thursday.
“You persist in attempting to argue that point.” “I do not view any of the people who support Donald Trump as a threat to the country,” Biden stated. “I do believe that anyone who pushes for the use of violence or refuses to recognize the results of an election…” Introducing new procedures for counting votes is a risk to democratic governance.
