Out of the fifty-five (55) students in Accra Girls Senior High School who tested positive for the covid-19 pandemic, seven(7) have recovered and have been discharged.
The school confirmed six positive cases amongst students two weeks ago and it was later discovered that a teacher and his spouse had also tested positive for the virus.
After a mass testing exercise was conducted by the Ghana Health Service, 55 people out of 314 tested positive.
The infected persons were sent to treatment centres to be attended to.
Authorities of the school clarified, seven of the students have been discharged and have been received back on campus.
