No children were hurt as a result of the incident that took place in Duncanville, Texas.
On Monday, a guy who entered a building in Duncanville, Texas, where children were participating in a summer camp armed with a gun was reportedly met with deadly force by responding officers.
No children, employees, or police officers were wounded as a result of the incidents that occurred at the Duncanville Fieldhouse.
Officer Michelle Arias of the Duncanville Police Department informed reporters present at the site at 8:45 in the morning that authorities had received reports of a man armed with a gun inside the building where approximately 150 children were participating in a summer camp.
Arias stated that the police located a suspect with a firearm and then approached him. “After being struck by officers, the suspect was promptly sent to a medical facility for treatment. The suspect was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after being taken there for treatment.”
