The horrific incident at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa occurred less than two weeks before the arrest was made.
A man from Oklahoma who is accused of attacking hospital employees in Tulsa and threatening to shoot medical experts was taken into jail on Friday after he purportedly committed these acts of violence. Additionally, the man is accused of making threats to shoot medical professionals.
When authorities from the city of Tulsa arrived at the Ascension St. John Medical Center on Friday at 5:15 p.m., they learned that hospital security had already arrested a man who was subsequently identified as Reuben Cheatum.
During the time that Cheatum and the doctor were on the phone together, the witnesses asserted that they heard Cheatum yelling at the doctor.
Cheatum reportedly yelled at both of them, “You have a few seconds until I break some caps in both of you,” according to the doctor. Cheatum was making both of them feel threatened. After that, Cheatum is said to have begun counting from one up to twenty by himself, according to several different sources.
