Even though the suspect is still on the run, the sheriff’s office says there is no danger to the public.
A suspect who got away while being taken to a sheriff’s office base in Harris County is being looked for.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said that District 4 units were sent to the 2300 blocks of Wigmaker Drive because of a “Terroristic Threat” call for help. Then, deputies arrested an adult man for breaking a crime protective order/retaliation order and taking revenge.
The suspect was then taken to a base at 16715 Clay Rd, where police say he took off his handcuffs and ran away on foot.
The sheriff’s office didn’t say much about how the suspect got the handcuffs off.
The suspect is still at large, but the sheriff’s office said there is no danger to the public. From Hwy. 6 to Clay Rd., where Pine Forest Ln is, the road is closed for now.
