A fire completely gutted the Balsora Baptist Church, which was located near Bridgeport, Texas.
On Friday, a fire completely gutted a church in Texas, yet one lone crucified cross managed to survive the blaze unscathed. Everything else in the building was reduced to charred rubble.
According to reports from the Wise County Emergency Services Department No. 2, the fire quickly destroyed the church in Bridgeport after it had begun at the Balsora Baptist Church. The fire had been burning for quite some time before it was discovered.
Even after the fires were extinguished and the smoke cleared away, there was a gleam of hope that things would turn out to be okay.
In their statement, they referred to the event as “a sight to witness,” but they also referred to it as “a tragic loss for our community.” “To our great good fortune, the flames did not reach the crucifix and destroy it. A recollection that the structure in question was nothing more than that: a structure. The congregation itself constitutes the Church, and whenever and wherever two or more people come together, He will make his presence known.”
