On Monday, United States Marshals located and arrested a man named Rashaan Vereen, who is 34 years old. Vereen was brought to custody after his arrest.
After a shooting spree on Saturday in Philadelphia, which resulted in three deaths and 11 injuries, police say they have captured a second suspect in connection with the crime. The shooting frenzy took place in Philadelphia.
On Monday, United States Marshals located Rashaan Vereen, 34, outside of his apartment and took him into custody.
According to reporters in Philadelphia, Vereen has been charged with attempted murder in addition to aggravated and simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and other counts along the same lines.

At the request of Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw, I would like to thank our Philadelphia Police Department investigators as well as the ATF, FBI, the United States Marshals Service, and the United States Marshals Service for their prompt and diligent work in identifying and apprehending two individuals wanted in connection with Saturday night’s horrific shooting incident on South Street.
