According to the reports from the Chicago Police Department, the drive-by shooting that resulted in many injuries took place on Saturday afternoon.
Four persons were injured as a result of a drive-by shooting that took place in Chicago on Saturday afternoon; one of the victims is currently in critical condition.
According to the Chicago Police Department, the incident was alleged to have taken place on the 8600 block of South Damen in Chicago’s South Side at approximately 3:20 p.m. on Saturday.
It was impossible to determine the identity of the person who was driving by in a car and starting a fire on the gathering of individuals; this individual shot everyone in the group at close range. The ages of the victims ranged anywhere from 24 up to 42.
A male victim aged 24 years old was shot in the left thigh and foot, a victim aged 42 years old sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and he was brought to a nearby hospital in fair condition. Additionally, a victim aged 39 years old was injured in the left thigh and sent to a hospital in fair condition.
A fourth male victim has been shot multiple times and is currently in serious condition due to the multiple bullet wounds he sustained.
The event is being looked into by the police.
